Deniz Demirer is writer, director, and video artist.
He has been working with Rob Nilsson, a veteran filmmaker, for the last eight years learning the Direct Action method of filmmaking.
Under Nilsson's tutelage Deniz produced and edited the feature narrative "Security" which was awarded GreenCine's Audience Award in 2005. He has also appeared as supporting actor in a number of Nilsson's films including "Pan," "Used," and as a lead in "Maelstrom," shot in the summer of 2008.
Deniz was the Director of Photography for the forthcoming Nilsson feature "Collapse" - currently in post-production.
As video artist he helmed the installation Video Symphony: Sequence to Simultaneity exploring the relationship between body and video harmony, which debuted at Ego Park Gallery in Oakland, CA in 2004.
Deniz recently wrapped production as writer-director and actor of his second feature film "Last Girl," which features Cuban ballet dancer Lorena Feijoo.

Jonathan Silvio is creative producer and director of photography for "Nocturnal Jake." In addition, as Manager of New Media for explore — a project of the Annenberg Foundation — Jonathan manages the design and development of websites and applications for explore.org. He also supervises the flow of content (film and photography) from post production to web. With strong experience as a multimedia producer and editor, he is interested in creating original productions, film records and innovative new media strategies.
